Joe Tag – Lead Vocals

Founded Crystal Ship in 1978 as a tribute to Jim Morrison and The Doors, after attending the University of South Caroline on a football scholarship and studying music, poetry and philosophy.  Joe studied voice with Katherine Agresta in New York City and has written and performed many original songs throughout the years; receiving standing ovations during the Band’s live performances.  Over the past three decades, Joe has put together various Crystal Ship lineups and has come back, by popular demand, with old bandmates and other extremely talented musicians to begin performing again in 2008 and beyond. 

Jon Wolf – Keyboards & Vocals

With over 25 years professional experience playing keyboards and piano, Jon has spanned the spectrum of musical diversity.  He has performed all over the country from Atlantic City to Las Vegas.  His band experiences range from full costumed disco bands to 9-piece country bands to lounge bands on the cruise ship circuit to fronting Elvis impersonators.  With his lead and background vocals fronting his rhythmic and melodic piano, organ and synth playing, audiences are always satisfied.  Jon was hand-picked by Joe Tag to replace one of the most important players in Crystal Ship history, the late Mark Zaborowski.

Mike Plummer – Bass

Mike has been playing bass longer than he cares to admit.  It all started when he brought home the 45 RPM "Ball Of Confusion" by the Temptations. The classic, throbbing, Motown bass line made him put down the trombone and pick up the bass.  Over the years in many local talented bands, he has always stayed close to traditional R&B, blues and roots music.  Playing with Crystal Ship combines all of these musical ingredients with the mystique of The Doors.
