In 1961, Charley and Winnie Weir started welding repair and storage tank manufacturing. In the 70’s Charlie and Tom second generation joined in the business learning and looking for different opportunities. In the 80’s structural steel fabrication became a main stay of Weir Welding, bring in our first beam line. In the 90’s a second plant is brought on line in Bethlehem, PA adding much needed space and automated equipment. Additions were done to both NJ and PA plants. In 00’ more renovations to our PA plant, adding additional automated equipment and a third plant in Saddle Brook, NJ has been acquired adding again much needed space.
